Helvar is committed to protecting your privacy in conformance with the applicable privacy legislation. You can visit our site without giving any information about yourself. Sometimes we may, however, need certain information to provide services that you request. This Privacy Statement explains the principles of the data collection and the purposes of using the data under those situations and when using Helvar's mobile applications, and informs you on our use of cookies on our web site.


Collection of Personal Information

When we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you we will ask it in specific on-line forms on our web site. You will be asked to complete an on-line form when you want to request specific services or information from us. Your information collected via the online form includes your name, address, e-mail address, company and telephone number. When using our mobile applications, we may also collect information which enables us to provide the service in question, such as photos you may take from your premises. We may also collect information generated from your use of our services. We do not collect any sensitive personal data. All information you decide to send us is to be send like e-mails. The connection of the on-line forms is not protected with any encryption program, so please do not send any sensitive information though the on-line forms.


Use of Cookies

We may use cookies in connection of our services and on our web site. Google Advertsing

This website uses Google Double Click Ad Exchange and Google Tag Manager software provided by Google. These services allow website providers to address their visitors in a targeted fashion by displaying personalized, interest-based advertisements when they visit other websites that are part of the Google Display Network. Google utilizes what are known as cookies to analyse how users use a website. The information collected with these cookies form the basis for interest-based advertising. To do so, Google stores a small sequence of numbers in the browser of the visitor calling on the website. This number is used to record the visits to the website and collect anonymized data on how the website is being used. No personal data of the people visiting the website are collected in the process. This website uses the “Custom Audiences” remarketing service provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). This service allows us to advertise our products and services to the visitors of our website in a targeted fashion by displaying personalized, interest-based Facebook ads to the website’s visitors, when they use the Facebook social network. The remarketing tag provided by Facebook is integrated on the website to implement this service. Further information on this service can be found in the privacy statement of Facebook. If you do not wish the Custom Audiences software to collect data about you, you can deactivate this service.

This tag establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers when you visit our website. It allows the Facebook server to record which of our webpages you have visited. Facebook allocates this information to your personal Facebook user account. Additional information regarding the collection and utilization of your data by Facebook, your rights in relation to these data and the possibilities to protect your privacy can be found in the privacy statement of Facebook. If you do not want Facebook to assign this information directly to your Facebook user account, you can deactivate the “Custom Audiences” remarketing service. Use of Personal Information

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

We occasionally hire other companies to provide services including mailing. We will only provide those companies with the information to deliver the service, and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. Helvar may disclose your personal information if required to do so in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to.

We may transfer the personal data we collect about you to countries other than the country in which the data were originally collected. When you give us personal information, Helvar does not share that information with third parties without your permission apart from the limited exceptions already listed. It will only be used for the purposes shown above.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Statement or the purposes of which you have otherwise been informed. We may nevertheless retain certain personal data for the period needed for us to comply with our legal obligations or to resolve disputes.

As a controller of personal data Helvar shall keep the description of the personal data file available to anyone. As a data subject every person whose personal information we have collected has the rights set forth in the Finnish Personal Data Act.

Every data subject shall have the right to access any information collected through our web site or mobile applications, which concerns him or her. In accordance with the Finnish Personal Data Act it is possible to rectify, erase or supplement any personal data contained in our personal data file, which is erroneous, unnecessary, incomplete or obsolete. The data subject may, in certain circumstances, have the right to request the transfer of data to another company. The provision of personal data may, however, in certain circumstances be a necessary requirement for the use of the services.
