Cruise Line Restaurant
A stunning cruise ship restaurant catering for multiple dining requirements. The restaurant needs to be flexible as it will be used throughout the day to provide an elegant breakfast buffet, relaxing lunches, and romantic evenings with fine dining. A control point is required at the Matrie'd station to allow selection of the pre-programmed scenes applicable to the ambience required. In addition a secondary control point is required, to provide lighting levels suitable for restaurant set-up and cleaning by staff.
Solution
Luminaires used consist of, decorative pendants, low voltage ceiling recessed halogen downlights, directional spotlights for accent to artwork, features and displays, and the use of compact fluorescent lighting for general set-up and cleaning. A master control is provided at the Matrie’d station which is pre-configured with specific scenes for the principle events. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and a clean-up scene. Dimming racks with appropriate load controllers to accommodate the different load types. An additional control location for selecting the clean-up scene.
