Corridor
Corridor lighting should always be lit when there are persons in the area. A person working in the facilities should never have to feel unsafe due to lack of lighting. The other perspective of corridor lighting is to combine the safety aspect with energy saving, by minimizing lighting when and where it’s not needed.
Solution
Use the iDim concept to combine the corridors to the neighbouring offices. The two channels of iDim Sense are connected to each other in such a way that the corridor automatically senses if there are persons present, keeping the lighting ON. The lighting will after a transition period be switched OFF. This mode is chosen by simply rotating the iDim Sense selector ring.
